This week, to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, we’ll be asking our Apprentices to #takeover our social media accounts, posting their chosen content and sharing their ‘day in the life’ stories.
Dunsters Farm have been committed supporters of developing emerging talents, and our Apprenticeship programme has proved to be a fantastic addition to that journey. Currently, Dunsters Farm employ two apprentices, Emily & Ellé, we took some time to ask about what an Apprenticeship is like..
Emily, joined us as a Business Admin Apprentice in 2021, with Hopwood Hall.
>What does your role entail?
I get involved in a host of Business Admin tasks, here at Dunsters Farm, including telecommunication, filing, photocopying, data entry, note-taking, and customer service.
>What qualification will you gain when you finish your Apprenticeship programme?
I’m currently working towards a Level 3 in Business Administration, via my programme with Hopwood Hall.
>What do you love about being an Apprentice?
Working as an apprentice for Dunsters Farm has allowed me to have a very happy work/life balance and massively expanded my skillset. I’ve learned so much since starting here, and continue to develop through my hands-on experiences in the office & college programme.

Ellé West, finishes her Marketing Apprenticeship in Feb 2022
>What does your role entail?
My role is really varied, every day is a little different but my main responsibilities include the generation and management of content on our social media platforms, designing new marketing materials offline & online, updating our website and supporting the Marketing Manager with new projects.
>What qualification will you gain when you finish your apprenticeship?
A Level 3 Standard Junior Content Producer, in collaboration with Juice Academy in partnership with Tangerine & Apprentify.
>What do you love about being an Apprentice?
Working for Dunsters Farm has allowed me to gain soo much experience within the marketing industry, experience you could only get whilst learning on the job. Everyone is really supportive and make working not a chore!
