In 2022, we proudly achieved accreditation as a Living Wage Employer, a significant milestone that reinforced our commitment to fair wages. However, our journey towards creating a more equitable workplace didn’t stop there. We set our sights on a new objective: becoming a ‘Living Hours’ accredited employer.
While the Living Wage Foundation has played a pivotal role in ensuring hundreds of thousands of workers receive a wage they can truly live on, a persistent challenge remains. Low-paid workers often struggle to secure the consistent hours they need to make ends meet. To address this issue, the Foundation introduced a groundbreaking standard for employers – the ‘Living Hours’ accreditation.
This innovative approach to employment practices goes beyond the scope of merely paying employees a living wage. It places a strong emphasis on providing stability and security within the workplace. By offering guaranteed, stable working hours and ensuring fair treatment, we empower our team with the assurance that their work hours will accommodate their needs.
