Last week, we were proud to be headline sponsor of the Bury BID Food & Drink Festival – our first year backing the event, and a brilliant one to be part of.
From Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July, the festival brought thousands of people into Bury town centre for a weekend of food, live music and entertainment, from Beer & Bands on Bank Street to the return of the Hong Kong Market at Kay Gardens. Our directors and a number of the sales team headed down over the weekend to see it all in action and support the town centre first-hand.
For Norman Bannister, our Group Sales Director, supporting the festival was a natural fit:
“We’re big supporters of hospitality – up and down the region, we supply cafés, restaurants and event spaces just like the ones that came to life across the festival weekend, so it made sense to get behind an event that puts hospitality centre stage.
We’re also based just down the road from where it all happened, and we already work closely with the council and teams across the region. This was a chance to do our bit and help galvanise hospitality and Bury town centre – supporting the great work already being done in across the town!”
Nigel Shields, Town Centre Director at Bury BID, said of Dunsters Farm’s support:
“We’re incredibly grateful to Dunsters Farm for supporting this year’s Bury BID Food & Drink Festival. Their sponsorship enabled us to invest further in promoting the festival, helping us reach more people and encouraging even more visitors into Bury town centre over the weekend.
As a well-respected foodservice supplier with strong local roots, Dunsters Farm was a natural partner for the festival. Their support reinforced the festival’s reputation as a celebration of quality food, drink and hospitality, and we look forward to continuing to build on this partnership in the future.“
