Adam Porter, who many customers will know from 20 years of delivering, will be moving into a new role of Driver Trainer at Dunsters Farm in April – working to ensure best driving & delivery standards across all our transport team.
With almost 30 drivers, and a large fleet of vehicles across two sites, Dunsters Farm has grown exponentially over the last few years. However it’s important to us that no matter our size, we never lose the top quality service that our customers have relied upon for decades.
Within his new role as Driver Trainer, Adam will be utilising his years of experience alongside a wealth of training and qualifications to ensure a consistent gold standard of all our driving team.
Adam will be responsible for ensuring all transport staff are fully compliant with H&S standards, driver CPC, and essential accreditations. In addition, he’ll be heavily involved in FORS, a voluntary accreditation scheme that will help us improve fleet standards within our organisation.
Training will also be a key feature of the new department, drivers will be upskilled in all elements of transport education, including fuel performance & consumption, customer service training and defensive driving courses.
