We are thrilled to announce that Tom Curtin will be taking the role of Technology Director, Norman Bannister will be taking the role of Sales Director and Craig Newton will now be Buying Director.
A bit about them…
Tom Curtin (previously Head of Systems and Operations) is now our Technology Director. Tom has been key to the adoption of technology within the business over the past seven years and will be focused on plans to ramp up our use of relevant technologies, ensuring that we are using the latest tools to provide the best customer experience possible and supporting the growth and development of the business.
Norman Bannister (previously Head of Sales) is now our Sales Director, overseeing the sales functions across Dunsters Farm. Norm has played an important role in our growth over the past five years and is firmly focused on delivering on our ambitious targets for the business.
Craig Newton (previously Head of Purchasing) is now our Buying Director. Craig has been with the business for three years and in that time he has worked tirelessly to ensure that our buying function is operating successfully and has worked closely with Norm to help secure sales growth in both existing and new markets.
Hannah Barlow, Managing Director, said of the changes:
“All three of these members of our team have been instrumental both before and throughout the pandemic.
“During their time with us they have demonstrated their commitment to the business. As a team we are thrilled that they will be joining the other directors of the business as we move into another exciting phase for Dunsters.
“We are confident that these changes will place us in a strong position for the future as we head into a new and exciting phase for the business.”
Norman Bannister said of the role;
“After over 30 years in foodservice, I’m incredibly proud to be part of the team here at Dunsters Farm at such an exciting time for the business. Even during the most turbulent periods in the industry, we’ve continued to give customers a market-leading experience & look ahead.
I relish the opportunity to join like-minded progressive directors, exploring new category & sector opportunities, whilst continuing to go beyond customer expectations. “
Craig Newton, newly appointed Buying Director said.
“It is a fantastic time to be part of such a dynamic team, and I’m confident we can continue to develop, with the same strong reputation enjoyed by this family business for over 50 years, and 3 generations.”
