As a long-established Greater Manchester foodservice supplier, we’re setting our sights firmly on the region’s hospitality sector as we prepare to exhibit at next month’s Northern Restaurant & Bar Show.
Based in Rochdale, we’ve been supplying professional kitchens across the North West for decades, building our reputation on reliable delivery, quality produce and strong customer relationships. As an award-winning business, we’re now focused on expanding our presence with cafés, restaurants and hospitality venues closer to home.
We work with a broad mix of catering operations – from independent hospitality venues and school kitchens to event spaces – but growth within hospitality has become an increasing priority for us, particularly across Greater Manchester where we began and where we remain headquartered.
That ambition strengthened in May last year when fresh produce specialist Ralph Livesey joined us, expanding our fruit and vegetable expertise alongside our existing ambient, chilled and frozen ranges. The move brought experienced buyers, established grower relationships and closer links with regional suppliers, significantly strengthening our fresh produce offer.
Our Managing Director, Hannah Barlow, said:
“We’ve always been a well-known foodservice business; dependable delivery, good produce and strong relationships are what we’re known for. Hospitality operators want that same reliability, but with flexibility and a genuine understanding of how kitchens work day to day. With the expertise we’ve added to our fresh produce offer, it means we really do know our onions — literally.”
Recent recognition has reflected our growth. We were named among the North West’s Fastest 50 growing companies last year and continue to invest in service, infrastructure and local partnerships.
Community impact also remains central to our ethos, including redistributing surplus food through regional food poverty charities such as FareShare Greater Manchester.
Our hospitality customers consistently highlight the quality and reliability of our service. One Greater Manchester restaurant customer said:
“The difference with Dunsters Farm is the quality and reliability. Since moving to six-day delivery, we’re rarely caught short, and ordering is always straightforward, with a great Business Development Manager — it just makes day-to-day running that bit easier.”
We’ll be exhibiting at the Northern Restaurant & Bar Show, the region’s leading hospitality trade event, at Manchester Central on 10–11 March. To find out more, come and speak to our team at Stand NC38.
