2023 has seen some fantastic developments throughout our business, including the extension of the Little Food Company’s (LFC’s) operational licence.
LFC have been granted a Restricted Operational Licence for its fleet of vehicles, granted in January, after a lengthy application.
The new goods vehicle certificate means that Little Food Company are free to carry their own goods and equipment throughout the UK and can now operate vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, a move that means we can use bigger trucks, transporting larger volumes for deliveries to customers.
Dave White (Group Transport Manager) said of the new licence:
“The O licence at Little Food Company marks a key stepping-stone for the business, making life easier for warehouse staff, with fewer deliveries on much larger trucks.
“Day to day, the licence will make only small changes to our operations at Oswestry, whilst creating efficiencies. It will give us the tools needed to help the business to grow in future.”
