A big part of our vision for Dunsters Farm is to give back to the local community, supporting a myriad of charities throughout the region, and beyond. With this in mind, we’re kicking our 2023 charitable giving off with an amazing partnership with Smartworks, an amazing charity designed to help support more women into work.

What is Smartworks?
Smart Works is a UK charity, that exists to give women the confidence they need to reach their full potential, secure employment & change the trajectory of their lives. They do this with bespoke dressing consultations, work clothing donations and in-depth interview preparation sessions.

A big impact

Since its inception 8 years ago, they’ve supported over 20,000 women, with 72% of clients securing a role within one month of their appointment at the charity.

How Dunsters Farm will be helping the movement…

Throughout the January & February, Dunsters Farm will be supporting the charity in a couple of different ways including a Workwear Clothing Drive, and preparing for the Cycle for Smart Works challenge in March, where Dunsters Team members will be cycling 500 miles in just one week!

How can I help?

You can support the cause in one of two ways;

  1. Support our Clothing Drive!
    You can donate any quality ladies workwear or accessories and we’ll deliver them to the Stockport branch of Smart Works, simply bring them along to our Dunsters Farm depot in January or February and we’ll do the rest!
  2. Donate to the Cycle for Smart Works Dunsters Farm team!
    Leading up to the beginning on 1st March, we’ll be collecting donations for the Cycle for Smart Works Challenge via our staff’s Just Giving Pages – look out on our social media accounts for info on how to donate!
