We were Headline Sponsors for Bury Food & Drink Festival!

Dunsters Farm Headlines Bury BID Food and Drink Festival 2026

Last month was a big one for Bury and we got to be right in the middle of it.

From Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July, the Bury BID Food & Drink Festival took over the town centre, pulling in thousands of visitors for a weekend of food, live music and entertainment, Beer & Bands on Bank Street, the Hong Kong Market back at Kay Gardens, the lot. It was our first year as headline sponsor, and honestly, a brilliant one to be part of.

A few of our directors and sales team went down over the weekend to see it in action and cheer the town centre on. If you were there too, hopefully you spotted the Dunsters name about the place.

Norman Bannister, our Group Sales Director, summed up why it mattered to us:

“Hospitality’s in our DNA, we’re out there every day supplying the cafés, restaurants and event spaces that make weekends like this happen, so backing an event that puts hospitality centre stage was a no-brainer. We’re right on Bury’s doorstep too, and we already work closely with the council and teams across the region, so this felt like a great way to get stuck in and support the town centre, and give a boost to all the great work already going on there.”

It wasn’t just us saying so, either. Nigel Shields, Town Centre Director at Bury BID, had this to say about our support:

“We’re genuinely grateful to Dunsters Farm for getting behind this year’s festival. Their sponsorship meant we could push the promotion further and pull in even more visitors to Bury town centre over the weekend. As a foodservice supplier with real roots in the local area, they were a natural fit, and their support helped cement the festival’s reputation as a proper celebration of quality food, drink and hospitality. We’re looking forward to building on this partnership going forward.”

Couldn’t make it down this year? No worries, check out the gallery below from the team who were there on the day.
