Team Dunsters Take on Charity Bus Pull

17/08/2026
in Sustainability
Discover how Dunsters Farm took on the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity Bus Pull, raising £625 to help tackle homelessness across the region.

Five members of Team Dunsters took on the Greater Manchester Bus Pull 2026 – a unique challenge that saw them pull a full-sized  bus over a set distance at Manchester Convention Centre, using nothing but teamwork, determination and a lot of effort!

Despite a rocky start, with the handbrake accidentally left on as they began pulling the bus, the team regrouped, gave it another go, and completed the challenge with an impressive time of 24.18 seconds. A fantastic effort from everyone involved!

A huge thank you to Craig Grayshon (Warehouse Manager, Bury), Adam Porter (Transport Supervisor AM, Bury), Ben Stocks (Transport Manager, Bury), Joshua Bradbury (Driver, Bury) and Andy Petch (Driver, Bury) for the taking on the challenge.

The team took part in aid of the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity, which supports initiatives tackling homelessness, rough sleeping and youth opportunities across the region. By working with local organisations and community projects to help create brighter futures for people facing challenges.

We caught up with Santosh Salunke (Transformation and Social Value Manager) at the event to hear his thoughts on why initiatives like this matter, along with Adam and Ben, who shared their experience of taking on the challenge.
